CEFAM Love story

“She is an American.
He is French.
Cassie came to study at CEFAM in 2011, little did she know that she would not only fall in love with France, but she would also find her soulmate, Alexis.

CEFAM was a time where two young students learned about business but also about how to care for another unconditionally.
In 2012, the tables turned and Alexis chose to study at Temple University (one of CEFAM’s partnership Universities) in Philadelphia where Cassie had been previously studying. A year of great fun with friends but also studying hard together to succeed in their studies.
Following graduation, their relationship went through an experience of long-distance which was very difficult and tested them both in ways they sometimes didn’t know how to handle. But when two people know what love is and the importance, there is no other option than to let love win.
In the summer of 2014, Alexis went down on one knee and proposed “Veux tu m’épouser??”.
Cassie then made the leap of faith and chose to join Alexis in Zurich, Switzerland at the end of the year 2014.
In 2016, the couple had a beautiful wedding in Santorini which was a “Franco-Americain” festivity in Santorini, Greece. A destination wedding that went down in the history books and was the opportunity for the two families to become one.

The couple has enjoyed living in Zurich, Switzerland for the past several years both working for UBS. Cassie working in Sustainable and Impact Investing and Alexis in Emerging Markets Equities. The two love to travel, take family retreats in Alsace, wine taste and visit coffee shops for reading!

In the summer of 2019, they will move to New York City to see what the big apple has in store for this American girl and French boy.

They look forward to their future together and cannot wait to one day have a family, a cat and a beautiful home of their very own. And one day in the very far future, they wish to return to the place where they met and retire in the beautiful countryside of France.”
